PEARL CHAIN
We took inspiration from an old brooch decorated with feathers and pearls. I took a while painting with watercolour to get the tones, pattern and scale right. The final result is our Pearl Chain wallpaper. The faded colour tones in each colourway give an impression of an old, more lived-in look. We chose light and warm colours for a more contemporary and minimal look in comparison our multicolour colourway called "Circo", which makes it more fun and daunting.
PARSLEY
We drew inspiration from a textile fragment we bought on an auction site and sat down and developed an intricate floral pattern. This pattern resembles a mixture of clover leaves and flat parsley winding their way through nature. This floral small-scale pattern comes in a sunny but also more subtle tones, it is a perfect backdrop for calm and cosy spaces, and a perfect wallpaper for various artwork on the wall.
ARTHUR & RUTH
Inspired by the border of a '70s tablecloth, we drew up a playful geometric pattern. We love the small scale making it perfect for a subtle but interesting wall covering. The colourways reflect our daily life: Arthur and Ruth are members of our families, who love a sandpit or a lawn to run around as well as visiting our the local stream, the Nadder. Arthur & Ruth comes in three colourways, which are beautiful earthy and fresh tones.
Helford
Inspired by a New Years trip to Cornwall, we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the Helford Passage. Whilst walking along the estuary, leaving rugged coastlines behind us, we crossed fields with grazing sheep, traversed crystal clear rivers and stumbled across picture perfect cottages.
Secluded sandy bays awaited and half way along the walk the iconic Ferry Boat Inn offered the most delicious lunch on a sunny but windy winter's day.

Sophie and Viktoria have known each other for over 15 years. Having worked for international luxury brands such as LVMH, Hermès, Andreas Murkudis, Mulberry and Paperlux Studio it was just a matter of time before their paths crossed again... and voilà, Upton Noble was born.
